Castle Lion Vineyard is a small family owned vineyard whose owner’s heritage extends to the central plains of Spain through to the Mediterranean coast. Establishing grapes and olives and carefully tending to these prized crops has been a way of life for generations.
Castle Lion Vineyard is named after “Castilla y Leon” – the region in Spain from which the family originate. The ancient city of Avila is a trio of Islamic, Hebrew and Christian cultures. The United Nations world heritage listed city stands like a fortress in the midst of elevated plains whose imposing and perfectly preserved walls date back to the 12th century.
In Western Australia, our Vineyard was conceived in a unique way. It was designed to showcase premium production using the latest technology in organic techniques and irrigation systems, which principally provides the best in soil and plant health, resulting in quality fruit.
Our focus is on the quality of our product,
plant and soil health, although, the health
and enjoyment of our consumer is equally
paramount. This is why pesticides are never
used in the Castle Lion estate. |
