This 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested in the cool of the night, and allowed to macerate prior to fermentation. Maturation was for 12 months in one year old and seasoned French oak prior to bottling. The style is about varietal character and the uniqueness of the Frankland River Wine region whilst giving consumers excellent value.
Crimson in colour with purple hints. Aromatic mulberry and blackberry with blackcurrant and faint bayleaf. The palate shows a mouth coating texture of dark plum fruits, supple and flavoursome, supported by fine lingering French oak tannin.
